表示活动告一个段落，或是建议一起共事小伙伴该结束一天的工作，可以回去休息了！

It's getting late and we're all tired. I suggest we call it a day.
天色已晚，我们都累了。我建议我们结束今天的工作。
除此之外，以下短语也可以表示“下班” 🔔
01、knock off work 歇工、下班
例如：What time do you knock off work?
你什么时候下班？
02、call it a day 收工、下班
例如：Let 's tell the noses and call it a day.

03、leave the office 离开办公室、下班
例如：He is still at work. He'll call you when he leave the office.

其实，“放学”也很简单，通常可以使用以下几个表达：
1.after school
最简单的地道英文可以说：after school

After school,I often go to the library to borrow books.
放学后，我经常去图书馆借书。
2.leave school
放学当然也可以说：leave school
不过，leave school 的具体意思需要结合语境，因为它还有完成学业后离开学校的意思。
🌰 举个例子：
①They can leave school early today to play football.
他们今天可以早点放学去踢球。
②She decided to leave school after finishing high school to pursue her dreams.
她决定在完成高中学业后离开学校，去追求她的梦想。
3.finish或close
根据语境还可以用finish或close来表达：
🌰 举个例子：
①School starts at 9 a.m. and finishes at 3.30 p.m.
学校上午9点开始上课，下午3：30放学。
②A strong wind warning was issued this morning, so the school closed early to keep students safe.
今早发布了强风预警，所以学校为保障学生安全提前放学了。
